Former Ayala choir student

“My choir experience was wonderful - visiting new places to perform, learning new songs, and bringing joy to the audience - and doing all of that with my friends. Being in choir was really like being a part of a family.”

Current Ayala choir student parent

“My daughter went from being afraid to be on a stage in front of others, to confidently singing in every performance. It says a lot about the program Mr. Davis has put together. A healthy blend of discipline, fun, and professionalism.”

What should I expect?

Throughout the school year you will experience many different types of events where you'll be able to perform. From festivals with other schools, concerts for friends and family, to even singing the national anthem before an Angel game!

There are also unique experiences the choir students look forward to participating in every year.

Spring Choir Tour

In addition to local festivals, the Ayala Concert Choirs have a long-standing tradition of traveling on an annual Spring Tour, where the choirs have the opportunity to participate in a national competition with other choral groups. The destinations vary, and have included recent destinations to Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York. The Spring Choir Tour also gives students positive experiences they will carry with them throughout their lives. Tour is a separate cost from the regular activities in choir.
